Trending | Spring Florals

Spring has sprung and it seems everywhere I turn it's all about florals. Ok, maybe it's because I was looking for the perfect flowy, beachy, floral dress for my sister's upcoming wedding. It wasn't easy to find, but we landed on THIS [available in white and navy] number from Nordstrom and for only $52 I was sold. It also looks great on! [FYI - I bought a small. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs]

Looking to revamp my wardrobe this spring I'm looking to add a floral piece or two! Currently I'm in love with this floral tank and the back [enter double heart eyes]! The Peplum Blouse is a perfect spring work staple and I can't pass on a new flowy dress either. While THIS number  has pockets, I could picture myself rocking THIS number while sipping wine with the girls in Napa!

Anyway... Are you loving florals this spring?

The Most Delicious Carrot Cake Cupcakes

If I had to pick between cupcakes and a slice of cake, cupcakes would win every time. Yeah, they are practically the same thing, but for some reason cupcakes steal my heart. Come on, I had mini cupcakes at my wedding! Anyway...

Our friends [aka Schue Love family] invited us over for Easter brunch. After hearing the menu, I knew a sweet treat would be the perfect addition. What's better than Carrot Cake on Easter!

Emerson experienced her first easter egg hunt. While she didn't know what was going on she had a blast running around.

Dress[similar], shoes, jacket

Of course someone didn't want to smile for our family photo.

ok, ok, back to the cupcakes! They were amazing and I will definitely make them again. My frosting skills were on point.

Carrot Cake Cupcakes
Makes 12

For the cupcakes
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp  cinnamon
1 ttsp  baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups grated carrots (heaping)
2/3 cup oil
2 eggs, beaten

For the frosting
4 ounces cream cheese
4 tbsp butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the grated carrots and the oil. Slowly add the flour mixture, stirring until just mixed. Add the eggs and stir until combined!

Scoop the batter into a muffin tin, filling each muffin lined tin about 2/3 of the way.

Bake for 13 minutes, check how they're doing, and add a few minutes if necessary.

While the cupcakes are cooling start the frosting.

For the frosting, blend the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until smooth. Slowly beat in the powdered sugar until smooth. Transfer to a plastic bag or similar tool for piping the frosting evenly on the cupcakes.

SLS3 Dual Pocket Run Belt Review + Giveaway!

I received the SLS3 Dual Pocket Run Belt to review, however, all opinions are 100% my own. This giveaway is sponsored by SLS3.

Remember in the 80's [ok, maybe even the 90's] when fanny packs were all the rage. Well they're back and I'm not talking about you're mom's fanny pack, I'm talking about a running belt! While phones get bigger and our pockets get smaller or nonexistent we need somewhere to stash all our goods! Seriously though, where are we suppose to stash our phone, keys, money etc. when out on a run, bike ride, etc? Enter the running belt.

When SLS3 asked if I was interested in testing out a the Dual Pocket Running Belt which holds a iPhone 6 I said, YES, please! There were a few other selling points too.

While the SLS3 Dual Pocket Running Belt this isn't the only running belt I own I can honestly say it's my favorite.

Why does the SLS3 Dual Pocket Running Belt stand apart from other running belts?

+ 2 POCKETS: carry your iPhone 6+, Samsung Galaxy [pictured above] or other large Smartphone; plus other essentials like keys, ID card, bank cards, energy bars, etc.
+ COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN: the running belt design, with 1.5" wide elastic belt and expandable pocket, is minimalistic for increased comfort during exercises.
+ COMFORTABLE AND BOUNCE-FREE RUNNING BELT: fits snugly enough to always stay comfortably in place, no matter how hard your workout gets.
+ WATER RESISTANT EXERCISE BELT: made with polyester with special stretch mesh pocket. In addition, the running belt has a waterproof zipper for extra all-weather protection and safety for your valuables and essentials.

+ Adjustable waist band! This is key depending on what I'm carrying. Plus, I can choose to wear my belt high or low.
+ Low profile and lightweight. I barely even notice I wearing it.
+ It's black with a dash of color! While this doesn't affect it's performance, the belt doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. You know for those times you're wearing it and not exercising ;)
+ Fits big phones without looking or feeling bulky!
+ Stays in place while running. No creeping!

+  Doesn't carry water [If that's what you're looking for].

A Busy Mom's Guide to Staying Organized

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser, Walmart Family Mobile. All opinions are mine alone. #DataAndAMovie #CollectiveBias

Between work, play and mom life my phone is my bloodline. Honestly, without it I would be lost.

Life as a working mom can get CRAZY, especially when you work from home! Yes, we have a nanny share a few days a week, but to get things done I have to be very aware of my time and how I  spend it. Since I'm always on the go I need a reliable phone and coverage. Having unlimited data through Walmart Family Mobile PLUS means there's one less thing to worry about. Considering I rely heavily on various apps to keep me organized throughout the day.

Email - You never know when you're going to receive a email that needs a quick response.

Google Calendar - I schedule everything from conference calls, doctors appointments, to gym workouts.

Google Drive - When I'm on the go this is perfect for reading and sending docs from my phone.

Wunderlist - I love this app for all my to-do's. You can also share lists with other app users! Now if I could only get my husband to use it.

Intuit/Mint - The budgeting wizard. With it being tax season I'm even more aware of how we spend our money. Tax season is the perfect time to evaluate spending habits and maximize savings. After noticing how much we were spending on cell phones, the Walmart Family Mobile Plus was a great solution to maximizing our spending in effort to contribute more towards our IRA's.

VUDU - I love this app because not only does it come in handy with a screaming toddler, but we can stream tv shows and movies any time on our tablet. Plus, with Walmart Family Mobile Plus, we get one free movie a month! Perfect for date night in ;)

PRO TIP: Make your phone work for you. Find APPS that make your life easier not harder.

Did I mention the best part about using my phone all day is not worrying about going over on minutes, data, etc.  By recently switching to the Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan we will cut our bill in half. The plan features Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data which includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE data PLUS a free movie on VUDU ($7 value) every month per line for $49.88.

Aside from work, I also use my phone to snap the occasional photo, listen to music while running or catch up on my favorite blogs.

Recently I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime - $79.92 (Rollback from $99.92) and am loving it.

After deciding on a phone I grabbed the $25.00 starter kit and was good to go! FYI - the Starter kit includes the SIM card you'll need to activate your phone.

Are you ready to make the switch?

Avocado Toast Six Ways + A Giveaway!

As a Brand Ambassador for Hamilton Beach I received the Hamilton Beach 4 Slice Easy Reach™ Toaster Oven with Roll-Top Door to review, however, all opinions are 100% my own. This giveaway is sponsored by Hamilton Beach.

Well, Hello!  Yes, I'm still here and I survived a solo road trip with a 14 month old. While I wouldn't recommend it it's possible!

I love breakfast and one of my favorite dishes is avocado toast. Unless you live under a rock it isn't anything new. For awhile it was all the range. Funny thing, this California girl grew up eating avocado toast. It's actually something I could eat everyday! However, I often add a little something something to my toast. I'm here to share my six favorite ways to spice up avocado toast.

First things first, you need some killer bread and a toaster. My toaster recently broke, so instead of buying a new one I've been using my Hamilton Beach 4 Slice Easy Reach™ Toaster Oven with Roll-Top Door [c/o].

Melt [c/o] | BFree Bread [c/o]

This toaster oven is the cat's pajamas! Seriously, it's super light, easy to clean, and can toast multiple slices at a time! Plus, you can't beat the a price tag of $44.95 #winning

Additional #EasyReach Features
+ Unique roll-top door
+ Easy access to food
+ Easy access to countertop
+ Easy to keep clean—food can’t spill on door
+ Fits 4 slices or a 9” pizza
+ Bake, broil and toast functions
+ Removable door for easy cleanup 30 minute timer with automatic shutoff or optional stay on
+ Includes bake pan and rack with 2 positions
+ Front-access crumb tray slides out for easy cleanup

Avocado Toast Six Ways
1. Avocado with strawberries, goat cheese, fresh basil and balsamic vinegar. [optional: olive oil]
2. Avocado with light butter, cucumber, scallions, and fresh dill.
3. Avocado with light butter, dried berries and sunflower seeds.
4. Avocado with a egg over medium topped with arugula and bacon.
5. Avocado with baby heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh basil and balsamic vinegar. [optional: olive oil]
6. Avocado with butter, bacon and scallions.

Layer ingredients as desired. Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!

While toasting bread is pretty simple, there are so many things you can cook in a toaster oven! I've found the toaster oven is prefect for flatbread pizzas, portobello mushroom burgers, crab cakes or sweet potato fries! The options are really endless. Do you have a toaster oven?

As part of my review, Hamilton Beach is kindly offering one lucky reader a chance to win a Hamilton Beach 4 Slice Easy Reach™ Toaster Oven with Roll-Top Door [$44.99]!

Day in the Life | Stay at Home Working Mom

Most of you probably don't know, but I'm a stay at home working mom! While you might be thinking "you lucky dog." It's not all that it's cracked up to be. Yes, I love being able to spend time with my best gal pal and make my own schedule. However, there are times I crave going to an office. We do have a pretty awesome nanny situation two days a week. I'm here today to give you a small glimpse into my life and no I'm not sitting around eating bon bons and watching RHOBH.

5 a.m. | Alarm goes off. I usually hit snooze at least once

5:30 a.m. | I'm at the Gym for Abs and spin class -- still zombie like.

7 a.m. | By this time I'm home from the gym and on my first cup of coffee. Since I started working from home I can easily drink 3 cups of coffee. Yes! I really need to cut back. Along with coffee I'll have either two eggs and fresh fruit or a smoothie.

7:30 a.m. | If Emerson isn't up I usually wake her up. I know, I'm so mean. But we have places to be and people to see.

8 a.m. | This particular day Emerson is with the Nanny so I drop her off.

8:30 am. | First meeting of the Day

9:30 a.m. | run some errands, send emails, and start laundry.

10:30 a.m. | Run of to Press Conference location for set up and briefings.

11 a.m. | Media Press Conference

12:30 p.m. | More calls... while I'm on the phone I'm trying to figure out something for lunch. But we don't have any leftovers and I need something more than an apple with Sunflower Seed Butter.  I remembered I had a Healthy Choice Cafe Steamerswhich was perfect with my crazy day.

1 p.m. | Quick + Healthy Lunch

Why I love Healthy Choice Café Steamers [MSRP:$3.29]:

+ All Healthy Choice meals are made with real ingredients and no preservatives so you don’t have to worry about sacrificing taste or freshness. Since the ingredients aren’t frozen in the sauce they have a fresh, more vibrant taste.

+ Unlike other frozen meals, Healthy Choice Café Steamers’ feature a unique tray-in-tray steam cooking method that delivers fresh-tasting meals with crisp vegetables and juicy proteins. It also gives you the chance to be a part of the culinary experience as you pour your own sauce, determining how much or how little flavor you want with your meal.

+ With each meal containing a mix of vitamins, nutrients and protein, Healthy Choice Café Steamers are a delicious, healthy, convenient option, whether at work, home or on the go.

+ Healthy Choice is the only major brand in the frozen meals section that can call 100% of its products “healthy” as approved by the FDA.

1:30 p.m. | Changed out my tires and worked while I wait. God they took forever.

3 p.m. | Finally home. Started more laundry, dishes, etc. All while responding to email and making calls! I'm that good an multi tasking.

4:30 p.m. | Go pick up Emerson

5 p.m. | Give Emerson some snacks while I start dinner and watch the 16.4 announcement

5:45 p.m. | Head to Crossfit to bust out 16.4 since I'm heading out of town the next day.

7 p.m. |  Home and beat tired. Time for dinner! More laundry and finally getting round to packing for the weekend. Emerson is already fast asleep.

9 p.m. | Glass of wine, Nashville and blogging all while finishing up the last load or laundry!

10 p.m. | Head on pillow out cold

Wow, now that was a day! Did you know how it didn't matter how busy I was I still managed to eat 'healthy' meals and workout, twice! Both are extremely important to me and I make them a priority everyday. I want to teach my little what it means to live a healthy life style and the best way is to lead by example.

Now imagine me doing all that when Emerson's home! It's not easy being a stay at home working mom.

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

Toddler Easter Basket Essentials

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm celebrating tonight with 16.4.

This weekend Emerson and I are heading down to San Diego for my sister's bridal shower! Seriously can't wait. However, I'm not looking forward to a solo road trip with a 14 month old. Wish me luck!

These are the times I wish I lived closer to home, but I'm lucky I'm not too far away. Even though it's a quick turnaround I have a long list of things I want to do and the Carlsbad Flower fields are at the top! Of course there will be a juice bar visit, or two. Oh and I can't forget the beach! [Follow along on instagram.]

OK, let's talk about Easter baskets! Most mamas can relate, but Holidays with kids are way more fun! Everyday Emerson is more and more interactive with us, toys and the dog! I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees her Easter basket.

Hello, My name is Tiara and I do not like corned beef and cabbage. Gasp.... I know, What's wrong with me?! Shopping for Healthy Foods Online

Thank you Swanson Health Products for sponsoring today's post. As always opinions are 100% my own.

Shopping for Healthy Foods Online

It's safe to say I buy nearly everything online. The UPS, Fedex, and mailman probably think I'm a SAHM with a major shopping habit. Well Mr postman, I'm a SATWM [that's right I work!] who loves a good deal. Plus, I would rather spend my time snuggling my baby, working out, exploring the outdoors, etc. then spend time shopping brick and mortar stores. Naturally when Swanson Health Products came knocking and asked if I wanted to shop for 'healthy'products online, I didn't even hesitate. Come on, two things I love!

Anyway, Swanson Health Products hooked this fit chick up with $50 to spend as I pleased. Warning: There are so many healthy options to choose form! It's like Target -- you'll go for one thing and walk away with 10.

After browsing their site I went to my cabinets to see what I really needed. Spices, baking goods and dried fruit were at the top of the list.

Shopping for Healthy Foods Online

Everything arrived within the week after placing my order! Talk about fast delivery. The dried mangos and cherries didn't last very long. Nor did the dark chocolate bar [big surprise!]. I was happy to stock my spice drawer and can't wait to use the coconut sugar [recipe coming soon]. The total cost for 11 items was only $51.49.

OK, so here's the truth about shopping through Swanson Health Products -- you're going to save money! Don't believe me. Check out this quick price comparison.

Hazelnut Paleo Pancakes

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #SilkSipToSpoon #CollectiveBias

Let me counts the ways I love the morning -- said no one ever! This may come to a surprise, but I'm a morning person. Give me a cup of coffee, a delicious breakfast, and I'm good to go. Let's talk about coffee for a quick minute, I love it! There's nothing better than a jolt of caffeine to get you going.

For the longest time I was a latte girl, but looking to save some money I started drinking coffee at home. In order to choke it down, I added more creamer than I should admit. My stomach wasn't pleased so I switched to almond milk and honey. It wasn't the same, but it was easier on my digestive system. After trying various creamer alternatives I finally found one I loved, Silk® Almond Creamer! Silk® Hazelnut Almond Creamer brings nutty flavor and subtle sweetness, totally dairy and cholesterol-free!

Shhhh.... this creamer isn't just for perking up coffee. I've been baking with it. Actually, I use it as a buttermilk or heavy cream replacement. Most recently I used it to replace coconut milk in my favorite paleo pancakes! The hazelnut flavor added just a touch of sweetness making the pancakes prefect for breakfast or afternoon delight!

Hazelnut Paleo Pancakes
Serves 4-6

3 eggs
1/2 cup Silk® Almond Creamer [Hazelnut]
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup raw cashews
3 tbsp coconut flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt

Place all the ingredients in the order listed in a high-speed blender. I use my Vitamix.

Blend on low for 30 seconds, then increase to high and continue blending until the batter is completely smooth, about another 30 seconds.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Top with honey, berries and chis seeds.

P.S. Silk® Almond Creamer [Vanilla, Hazelnut and Carmel] is available at Walmart.

What would you make with Silk Almond Creamer?

Life After Baby | Living with a Happy Dog

This post is sponsored by Purina® Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND and the BlogPaws® Pet Influencer Network. I am being compensated for helping enrich the lives of senior dogs, but we only share information we feel is relevant to our readers. Purina® Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND is not responsible for the content of this article.

Beyond the happiest baby in the world is our first baby girl, Roxy. Roxy, our seven year old german shorthaired pointer, wasn't too sure or happy about us adding a tiny human into the mix. At first life was chaotic, to say the least, but once we figured things out it was smooth sailing.  The key to staying sane is keeping everyone happy. Easier said than done, right?!

Three tips to living with a happy dog after baby.

A well exercised dog is a happy dog. We try to walk Roxy an hour everyday, but when we can't we make sure to play fetch, tug-of-war, etc. Although she loves, loves the snow sometimes it's just hard to walk her daily during winter months.

Food + Treats
I'm a firm believer in feeding our dog quality food. A few months ago we switched to Purina® Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND and have noticed a big difference. Roxy welcomed the change of food, too!

Around age 7, the glucose metabolism in a dog’s brain begins to change, which can affect memory, learning, awareness or decision-making. As Roxy ages we want to make sure she's getting all the nutrients + vitamins she needs to stay bright and active.

Overall Benefits:
+ High-quality protein, including chicken as the 1st ingredient EPA, an omega-3 fatty acid
+ Glucosamine helps support joint health and mobility
+ Botanical oils provide an efficient fuel source for the brain in dogs age 7 and older - helping them think more like they did when they were younger.
+ Enhanced botanical oils can be used as additional energy source for the brain. When added to the daily diets of dogs 7+, the formula promoted memory, attention, and trainability.

Every morning Roxy gets a treat for sitting, laying dow, playing dead, etc. It's a fun way to engage her first thing in the morning.

Purina® Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND Adult 7+ formulas contain enhanced botanical oils shown to promote alertness and mental sharpness in dogs seven and older with visible results within 30 days. Purina Pro Plan® BRIGHT MIND Adult 7+® is available at PetSmart and can help your senior dog!

Roxy loves her snuggles and she's not shy about asking for them. Although it took her awhile to warm up to Emerson, once she did it was game over. Throw a blanket on the floor and Roxy wants to lay on it too. She has no shame in her game. We make sure to give Roxy plenty of snuggles everyday.

Roxy is a part of the family and we wouldn't have it any other way. At this point she's not even phased by Emerson and lets her crawl on to the dog bed with her.

Roxy's one happy pup and Emerson loves her big sister!

A Mother's Promise | Raising Wild & Free

Thank you Pampers Premium Care products and Walmart for inspiring and sponsoring today's post. #MothersPromise

A Mother's Promise

When I found out I was pregnant, I was overwhelmed with excitement and joy. Ok, maybe a tad of fear too. Since it was my first time I wasn't really sure what to expect. As my pregnancy progressed I started thinking about how life would soon change and be full of new adventures.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. – Mark Twain

A Mother's Promise

With success comes failure, with confidence comes fear and with love comes loss. While I can't keep her from all the bad in life I can teach her to live life to the fullest and to make the most of every success and failure. Show her the world and raise her wild and free -- Let her dream big, eat well, travel often and love with her whole heart.

A Mother's Promise

How do I plan to raise her wild?

I promise to let her dream big and help her reach those dreams.

I promise to let her fall, but help pick her up when she needs a hand.

I promise to let her laugh, because laughter makes the heart full.

I promise to give her guidance, but to always support the choices she makes.

I promise to provide her with opportunities in life to help her achieve her dreams.

I promise to engage and listen.

I promise to celebrate the little things in life.

I promise to lead by example whether it's teaching her how to love, a good work ethic, work life balance, being silly, staying healthy or exploring the world.

I promise, above all else, to love her no matter what and teach her how to love herself.

10 Minute Leg Blaster + #LoveDoveFruits

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #LoveDoveFruits #CollectiveBias

10 Minute Leg Blaster

Yup, it's FriYAY and I'm talking about fitness. Are you surprised!? Good luck on 16.2 to all my crossfit readers! It's a good one. Today is all about leg blasters and DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut.

When I was younger I always thought my lower body was stronger than my upper. However today, I think the complete opposite. Hello, I have no problem busting out pull-ups and push-ups, but I'm on the struggle bus to back squat 150 lbs. I know, first world problems over here. Aside from working on back squats and front squats, to build up my lower body, I love working in a quick leg blaster a few days a week. It's also a great warm-up for a longer workout.

10 Minute Leg Blaster [Complete 5 rounds of the below moves]

20 Squats
20 Lunges
20 Jumping Lunges
20 Jumping Squats
10 Burpees [Chest to floor and end with a jump]

Quick Tips for the Perfect Squat [How To]

1. Stand with your feet slightly wider than your hips.
2. Your toes should be pointed slightly outward – about 5 to 20 degrees outward.
3. Look straight ahead and pick a spot on the wall in front of you. You’ll want to look at this spot the entire time you squat, not looking down at the floor or up at the ceiling.
5. Now, breathe in, break at your hip and push your butt back. Keep sending your hips backwards as your knees begin to bend [Keeping your spine in a neutral position and weight in the heels of your feet].
8. Squat down until your hip joint is lower than your knees [what we call parallel].
9. Keeping everything tight, breathe out and drive through your heels. Drive your knees out the same way you did on the way down, and squeeze your butt at the top.

Remember: Keep your body and core tight the entire time.

10 Minute Leg Blaster

Ok, now that your heart is pumping and you're feeling the burn let's talk about fuel. I have a secret. I eat chocolate EVERYDAY. Yes, everyday unless I'm doing a 'special 5-week eating plan.' Personally I like to enjoy a small indulgence because it makes me happy.

I'm picky about my chocolate and recently discovered DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut. It's the prefect combo of chocolate and nuts, without it being trail mix. But then I've always been a sucker for chocolate covered almonds.

After a morning workout and paleo inspired lunch I typically find myself plugging away on the computer in need of a little something. Yesterday I grabbed the bag of DOVE® Dark Chocolate Raspberry & Honey Roasted Almond and a few pieces was all I needed.

DOVE® Dark Chocolate Cranberries, DOVE® Dark Chocolate Blueberry & Vanilla Cashew
DOVE® Dark Chocolate Raspberry & Honey Roasted Almond

The product is located in a DOVE® Chocolate Fruit & Nut display in Walmart stores [coupon].

10 Healthy On The Go Breakfast Ideas

10 Healthy On The Go Breakfasts Ideas

Well, hello there. If you weren't aware I love food, healthy good for you food and, well, chocolate. I just can't seem to kick the sweet tooth. While I'm not a big fan of candy I do love chocolate, baked goods and of course ice cream. Anyway, I eat clean so I can indulge -- end of story.

Everyday I start my day breaking a sweat and a well balanced breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it should never be skipped. Between family, work, fitness and friends I'm always busy. However, I make time for breakfast even if it's on the go. Below you'll find 10 quick and easy breakfast meals on heavy rotation at our house.

1. Green Smoothie - This is probably my go-to breakfast. It's super easy to throw everything in a blender then pour it into a cup and go. I'm a big green smoothie fan. My current  favorite combo has been: 1 medium cucumber, 1 lemon, 1 cup spinach/kale, 1 cup frozen mixed fruit [mango, berries, etc.] 1 tbsp almond butter and 1 scoop whey protein. Looking for a few other green smoothie ideas -- check out Clean Green Drinks!

2. Fruit Bowl - This is super easy to prep ahead of time. I suggest cutting up 3-4 different types of fruit on Sunday and divide them into single servings containers.

3. Hard Boiled Eggs - Prep ahead for the week. Sometimes I like to have two hard boiled eggs with a small smoothie or fruit bowl. Oh, and I sprinkle the eggs with a little salt and pepper.

4. Sprouted Toast with Avocado - Simple breakfast that packs a punch.

5. Overnight Oats - Prefect for when you need something a little more hearty in the morning.

6. Homemade protein/granola bars - Prep Sunday and pair with a fruit bowl. These are also prefect for road trips or post workout.

7. Paleo Muffins - Make a big batch and freeze. I suggest trying these, these or these.

8. Frittata - Prep on Sunday night and have breakfast all week. They're super easy to make. I usually make a spinach, bacon and bell pepper combo. I'm thinking about making this sausage and butternut squash frittata next week.

9.  Spinach Egg Muffin Cups - Much like a frittata, but bite sized. I suggest making a big batch and freezing what you don't need for the week. These look pretty tasty.

10. Paleo Panacakes - We love making coconut pancakes on Sunday. I suggest making a few extra to grab and go during the week. Maybe even enjoy with your favorite nut butter and sliced banana. The best paleo pancake recipes are from Against All Grain [IMO]. Try starting with the Banana Pancakes or Pumpkin Pancakes with Bacon and Pecans!
